| Word of Life Ministries Inc. is a non-profit Christian organization
that is committed to providing high quality audio teaching
material for the worldwide body of Christ and, in response
to the command of Jesus (Matt 28:19) to do all that it can
to preach the Gospel to the nations and disciple those who
respond.
Teaching Materials
In Luke 18:8, Jesus, whilst referring to the day of His return
to establish His Kingdom on the earth, asked if ‘When
the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?’
The implication, unfortunately, is that He may not. But considering
the large number of Christians that will be living on the
earth at that time, this is a very disconcerting thought.
We are convinced, however, that this situation can be changed
because the Apostle Paul made it very clear in Romans 10:17
- that ‘Faith comes by hearing … the Word of God.’
The lack of faith among God's people, therefore, may be the
result of them not ‘hearing’ the Word of God correctly
and it is this urgent need that Word of Life Ministries is
addressing.
In addition, to the need for Christians generally to become
more ‘Word’ and ‘Faith’ conscious,
we want to see God's people follow the command of Jesus in
Mark 16:15 - to ‘Go into all the world and preach the
Gospel’
Matthew 28:19 says to ‘Go therefore and make disciples
of all nations … teaching them to obey everything that
I have commanded you.’ This, as we all know, is a huge
task and, because of its urgency, demands the Church's total
commitment. Word of Life Ministries is committed to assisting
the Church in this matter by providing it with some of tools
it needs to the job.
With regard to the material itself and in order to maximize
the value of the teaching it contains, we have recorded it
on durable CD's in volumes that contain 4 x 1 hour Disks -
each of which has 2 x 30 minute tracks. The theme of all of
the material is ‘Understanding’ and we have endeavoured
to keep each volume concise and to the point.
The portable nature of the Disks make them suitable for use
anywhere and can be used by anyone as a part of their ministry.
They are ideal for both personal and group study and can easily
be incorporated into programs that focus on personal evangelism
and the mentoring of young Christians.
All of the proceeds from the sale of its CD's are used by
the board of Word of Life Ministries to extend it's ministry
in the Body of Christ. No member of Word of Life Ministries
receives any remuneration for their efforts and all funds
(including donations) are accounted for and audited regularly.
